We had a cat who suffered from Feline Urological Syndrome, and one of the things the vet tried to treat him for this was to prescribe him Elavil (commonly prescribed to humans for depression.) We were to get this at our normal Meijer pharmacy. I was on the phone with the pharmacy and they asked whom this was for, I gave the pet's name, Babe. They asked me if he had insurance, I said "no, this is for a cat." The Elavil only made him mopey and all Babe would do was sit next to the refrigerator. He didn't stay on it for long.

We go to Wabasis Lake campgroung. It's in/near Greenville. Northeast of Grand Rapids almost an hour.

I'm so sick of sitting around. I'm beginning to go a bit bonkers. I'm not a sitting around kind of person. Ugh!

We've still got to get our kids together. Let me get on my feet first. I'm hoping that will occur the first week of August.

Yes, that must be what happened here. Alicia (our eight year old) has given me a haircut that was just as good as this one. I'm not overly vain about my hair. It's hair... it grows back. But shees... what a waste of $15!

Jim and I get our haircuts from someone who has been cutting hair since the earth cooled and he's upset that what's going on is the beauty schools (which are owned for the most part by the big salon chains) are setting the hairdressers up to work mainly as salespeople for said big salon chains. They will try to sell you all kinds of stuff you most likely didn't need in the first place. Lucky I don't go to one of those.

I love cleaning with white vinegar! If you have white tile grout, what has worked for me to get mildew and rust out is to spray straight white vinegar on it, then take a wet brush and dip it in some baking soda, then brush the baking soda into the grout. It'll fizz a little, but it is about the only thing that has worked on my grout. (The grout sealer I put on when I tiled our shower didn't work!)
